Deidre Daugherty studied fine arts at the University of New Mexico. When she moved to California, she received her degree in graphic arts and studied at the Pasadena School of Design.
With her graphics career, she worked with ad agencies and marketing firms to create logos, illustrations and various public relations materials for clients including Kawasaki, Proctor and Gamble and the American Heart Association.
She learned the process for creating bronze sculptures in 1993. Since then she has been in numerous shows and exhibits. She has shown in California galleries in Sacramento, Carmel, Sausalito, South Lake Tahoe and other cities.
